40 Local Artists Share Spotlight in La Jolla at Athenaeum Juried Exhibition Through Sept. 3

The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library’s 30th annual Juried Exhibition opens Saturday with more than three dozen selected artists displaying their work in La Jolla through Sept. 3. 

The jurors, Anita Feldman, a San Diego Museum of Art deputy director, and visual artist Marianela de la Hoz, selected the artists out of nearly 900 entries by 316 artists.

The show’s first , second and third place winners will be announced at Friday’s free opening reception, as well as the Leslie Von Kolb Memorial Award.

The selected artists:

To be eligible, artists must live, work or exhibit within San Diego County or Tijuana and their pieces must have been completed within the past five years
